OCI Enterprises

OCI Enterprises is a chemical and green energy company headquartered in Atlanta, Ga. It is the North American subsidiary of OCI Company Ltd., based in Seoul, Korea. OCI Enterprises operates two business units: its chemical division, OCI Chemical, and its energy division, OCI Energy. OCI Energy is comprised of two businesses: OCI Solar Power and ERCAM Trackers.

OCI Solar Power

Headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, OCI Solar Power is a leader in the solar power industry, providing innovation and development for utility scale solar PV projects in communities throughout the U.S. With a 25-year, 400 MW power purchase agreement with CPS Energy and more than 500 MW of solar photovoltaic projects currently in development nationwide, OCI Solar Power works with communities, utilities and leading environmental and engineering firms to ensure that each solar PV project is suitable for the community and built in an environmentally conscious manner.

ERCAM Trackers

In October 2012, OCI Enterprises finalized a joint venture with ERCAM Energy of Spain, one of the largest European suppliers of solar tracking systems, to create ERCAM Trackers. OCI Enterprises, through its subsidiary OCI Energy, is a majority owner in the new entity. ERCAM Trackers is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where it will produce patented, two-axis photovoltaic (PV) solar trackers.

OCI Chemical Corporation

Founded in 1996, OCI Chemical Corporation’s primary businesses are the production of natural soda ash, sodium percarbonate, and hydrogen peroxide. OCI Chemical is one of the world’s largest producers of natural soda ash, and its Green River, Wyoming plant has been providing high quality products to companies across North America and around the globe since 1962. In 2001, OCI Chemical began manufacturing the highly effective oxygen based bleach sodium percarbonate at its facility in Decatur, Ala. In 2006, OCI Chemical and Eka Chemicals Inc. entered into a joint venture to manufacture and sell hydrogen peroxide from its Columbus, Miss., plant, forming EkO Peroxide LLC.
